Welcome to The Village. By using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What The Village is

The Village is a private tool that helps families coordinate care. It is not a medical provider, does not give medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional care or emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for the activity in your village. The app is invite-only during this period. Do not share access with people who should not see the information.

3. Villages, roles, and your authority

By setting up a village, you confirm you have the right to store information about the person receiving care and to invite the members you add. You control who joins and what each role can see and do.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the information you enter. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it solely to operate the service for your village. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising. You are responsible for its accuracy.

5. Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully and respectfully. Do not misuse it, attempt to access other villages, or upload harmful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Privacy and security

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We protect your information with encryption, role-based access, and private file storage, but no online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

7. Availability and changes

The app is offered as-is during this early period and is still evolving. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above.

8. Cost

The Village is currently invite-only and free during this preview. If paid plans are introduced later, pricing and terms will be presented to you before any charge.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
